Dobong-gu Family Center Provides Customized Family Services through the 'On Gajok Bodeum Project'

Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) and Dobong-gu Family Center (Director Kang Jin-ah) announced that from this year, the individually operated family support services will be integrated and newly operated as the ‘On Gajok Bodeum Project’.


The On Gajok Bodeum Project is a program that helps restore family functions and supports emotional and economic independence for families in vulnerable, crisis, or emergency care situations.


Through this project, the center plans to comprehensively provide services such as care and counseling support, continuous case management, and emergency crisis support, as well as counseling for pregnancy and childbirth conflicts and couples experiencing infertility.


The target groups for the project include single-parent families, grandparent-grandchild families, families supporting elderly parents, grandchild care, grandparents, adolescent (single) parents, single-person households, multicultural families, and families at risk of divorce, all with a median income of 100% or less.

Mayor Oh Eon-seok of Dobong-gu said, “We expect that providing customized integrated services through the On Gajok Bodeum Project will solve problems faced by families experiencing various difficulties and improve family relationships. The Dobong-gu Family Center operates family education, counseling, and case management regardless of family type, as well as care sharing, child care services, Korean language education, Korean society settlement programs, and multicultural children’s growth support programs on an ongoing basis to help all families live healthy and happy lives.
