Seodaemun-gu Shares Public Service Know-How with New Employees

Seodaemun-gu (Mayor Lee Seongheon) announced on the 8th that it recently conducted the 2024 Public Service Orientation Training over three days to help new employees smoothly adapt to the organization.


Mayor Lee Seongheon gave a special lecture on the direction of the 8th elected administration and major projects, then urged, “I hope new employees become key players leading Seodaemun-gu’s change and development with a future-oriented and proactive mindset.”


Kang Hwanbok, Director of the Administrative Autonomy Bureau, shared attitudes, mindsets, and know-how necessary for public servants during a ‘Conversation with Seniors’ session.


Additionally, training on budget and accounting practices, report writing, and civil service response was provided to help implement trustworthy civil administration.


Furthermore, through MBTI analysis and escape room games, employees had opportunities for mutual communication.


Besides, participants explored the Seodaemun Natural History Museum, Seodaemun Prison History Hall, the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea Memorial Hall, as well as Hongjecheon Caf? Waterfall and Ansan Loess Trail, emerging healing spots in the city.


Lee Seongheon, Mayor of Seodaemun-gu, said, “I hope new employees grow into key figures who achieve ‘100% Happiness Seodaemun.’”
