Lee Byung-hun and Kim Sun-young Win Best Actor and Actress Awards

The Korean Film Directors' Guild announced on the 8th that director Kim Seong-su of 'Seoul Spring' was selected as the Best Director in the film category at the 22nd Directors' Cut Awards.
The screenplay award in the film category went to writers Hong In-pyo, Hong Won-chan, and Kim Seong-su for 'Seoul Night,' and the Vision Award (Independent Film Award) was given to director Jung Ju-ri for 'Next Sohee.' The Best New Director award was presented to director Yoo Jae-seon for 'Sleep.' The Best Director in the series category was awarded to director Kim Yong-hoon for 'Mask Girl.'
The Best Actress awards went to Kim Sun-young (Concrete Utopia) in the film category and Yeom Hye-ran (Mask Girl) in the series category, while the Best Actor awards were given to Lee Byung-hun (Concrete Utopia) in the film category and Ahn Jae-hong (Mask Girl) in the series category.
The New Actress awards were presented to Kim Si-eun (Next Sohee) in the film category and Lee Han-byeol (Mask Girl) in the series category, and the New Actor awards went to Hong Sa-bin (Hwalan) in the film category and Moon Sang-hoon (D.P.2) in the series category.
The Directors' Cut Awards is a ceremony where about 300 members of the Korean Film Directors' Guild (DGK) vote annually to select the winners. This year, on the 7th, about 150 members, including DGK representatives Yoon Je-kyun and Min Kyu-dong, and film directors Kang Je-gyu, Park Chan-wook, and Choi Dong-hoon, gathered to hold the event.
