Lee Munggu, CEO of Dongyang Life Insurance, "Leap to a Top-Tier Insurer with a Healthy Corporate Culture"

Dongyang Life Insurance announced on the 8th that it held a 'Communication Meeting' at the KW Convention in Daejeon on the 7th as part of its efforts to build a corporate culture of 'communication' and 'mutual respect.'


The meeting, planned as part of strengthening internal communication emphasized by newly appointed CEO Moon-Gu Lee at his inauguration ceremony on the 4th, was attended by about 80 office staff working in the sales field. Starting with this first meeting, Dongyang Life Insurance plans to hold a total of four communication meetings during the first half of the year for all office staff working at both field sites and the head office. CEO Lee proposed this meeting first, stating that "I will listen first to the voices of office staff who have had difficulty actively conveying their opinions to the company due to the lack of various communication channels."

The meeting was conducted based on an anonymous survey previously conducted among participating employees. After a free Q&A session with the employees, an office stretching class for employee health was held with a professional instructor. During the dinner held to encourage employees after the official event, an informal communication session between the CEO and participating employees continued.


CEO Lee said, “A culture of mutual respect based on empathy and communication must be the foundation for a healthy corporate culture,” adding, “We will gather the diverse opinions heard through this communication meeting to make Dongyang Life Insurance a healthy company and establish a foundation to leap forward as a top-tier insurance company.”
