Dynamic Design, a tire mold manufacturing and sales company, announced on the 7th that it visited the local factories of global tire companies PIRELLI and GITI TIRE in February for strategic collaboration.
PIRELLI, ranked 6th in the world with a 150-year history, is widely known for producing high-performance tires of excellent quality, and Dynamic Design has been selected as a strategic supplier for PIRELLI.
In December last year, Dynamic Design also attended the ‘Supplier Day 2023’ held at PIRELLI’s Milan headquarters, which invited the top 1% of suppliers with sustainability through continuous innovation, high quality, perfect service, and competitiveness.
GITI TIRE, established in 1951, is the world’s 15th largest tire manufacturer, distributing products to more than 130 countries with 8 manufacturing facilities and 32,000 employees.
Recently, Dynamic Design invited GITI TIRE executives and employees to its Korean headquarters to share the operation schedule of Dynamic Design’s Indonesia factory and discuss expanding tire mold supply volumes and future business cooperation.
Currently, there are about 20 tire manufacturers in Indonesia, but there is no global specialized tire mold company. Therefore, Dynamic Design’s new Indonesian corporation is receiving significant attention from local tire manufacturers as well as nearby global tire customers. Once the company’s new local factory is completed, it is expected to secure a leading position as a tire mold supplier in the Indonesian market and enable business expansion into Southeast Asian markets including India.
Dynamic Design stated that global order volumes are on the rise. The total expected global orders for the first quarter are projected to reach 900 sets, a 25% increase compared to the same period last year, amounting to approximately 20 billion KRW. They explained that performance improvements are gradually progressing due to increased orders for customer projects and high value-added tire molds.
A representative from Dynamic Design said, “The increase in orders from domestic and overseas corporations is the result of meeting the trust of strategic customers through continuous delivery and quality improvement, and we are striving to turn a profit this year.” He added, “We will continue steady quality improvements and investment activities to strengthen competitiveness in the global market and create a sustainable management environment with our customers.”
