On the 6th, a post titled "Weathering with You appeared in Tokyo yesterday" was uploaded to an online community, surpassing 232,000 views as of 4 PM, drawing significant interest. The post compiled content from social media within Japan, showing a man wearing a white T-shirt and jeans walking perilously on train tracks crossing Tokyo city. Behind him, police officers and railway officials can be seen urgently chasing after him.
Mr. A explained the situation, saying, "Around 1 PM on the 6th, a man wearing a white T-shirt and jeans suddenly trespassed onto the tracks at Koen Station on the Chuo Rapid Line," and added, "He was arrested after about a 15-minute chase." He continued, "What’s even funnier is that it started raining after the incident. It was like a scene from the movie." This incident has become even more notable because it resembles a scene from the 2019 film "Weathering with You" directed by Makoto Shinkai. In the movie, the protagonist Hodaka escapes from the police station and runs along the rails to save another main character, Hina, and this real-life event closely mirrors that scene.

Netizens who saw the post reacted with comments such as, "The key point is that it actually rained after he did that. It's so funny," "People working in Japan must have gotten their blood pressure up. Train operations were probably delayed because of him," "He even dressed similarly to the movie," and "He must have been really impressed by the film."
Meanwhile, the Chuo Line is a main railway line connecting Tokyo Station in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, to Nagoya Station in Nakamura Ward, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. The total line length is 424.6 km, and among passengers, the short-distance commuter trains are commonly called the Chuo Line (中央線), while the local line section beyond Tachikawa (立川) is referred to as the Chuo Main Line (中央本線).
