Seodaemun-gu Implements Mandatory Completion of Related Education for Maintenance Project Association Executives

Must Complete 'Old Maintenance Project Academy' Training to Obtain Union Establishment Approval

Seodaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seongheon) announced on the 6th that it will implement a mandatory completion system for redevelopment and reconstruction maintenance project academy education starting this year. This mandates that executives of associations within Seodaemun-gu complete maintenance project academy education. The education targets are executives of associations and promotion committees within the district (association heads, promotion committee chairs, directors, auditors, etc.).

They must submit a certificate of completion for the "Seoul City Maintenance Project Academy Curriculum" (online) when applying for the initial establishment approval or change approval of the association (promotion committee). The detailed courses include ▲ e-Redevelopment and Reconstruction Maintenance Project Academy (2 hours) ▲ e-Maintenance Project Academy Advanced Course (11 hours) ▲ e-Maintenance Project Public Support Practice (8 hours), among others.

Additionally, the district plans to require completion of the "Seodaemun-gu Maintenance Project Academy" (offline) within one year from the approval date as a condition for association establishment approval. The "Seodaemun-gu Maintenance Project Academy" is held twice a year, and currently, students for the first half of the year are being recruited.

The first half course covers "Key matters and basic understanding of each stage of the maintenance project" and will be held a total of 8 times from April 16 to July 23, every other Tuesday evening from 6:30 PM for 2 hours at the Bukahyeon Cultural and Sports Center Art Hall (51 Bukahyeon-ro).
