Composed of program rooms, cafe spaces, counseling rooms, lounges, and classrooms

Seodaemun-gu Out-of-School Youth Support Center Relocation

Seodaemun-gu (Mayor Lee Seongheon) announced on the 5th that the 'Seodaemun-gu Out-of-School Youth Support Center' (Director Jeong Seonhee) recently relocated to the Cheonnyeon-dong Alley Management Office, securing a dedicated space.

The center provides psychological counseling, GED support, internship programs, and more to help out-of-school youth aged 9 to 24 grow into healthy members of society.

Since its opening in May 2015, the center had been sharing space with the Youth Counseling and Welfare Center located in Bukgajwa-dong, but with this relocation, it has secured a dedicated space, and it is expected to play a richer and more diverse role exclusively for out-of-school youth.

The first floor of the center is arranged with a program room and caf? space, the second floor houses offices, counseling rooms, and a lounge, and the third floor is set up as an education room and community room for residents.

In particular, the program room and caf? will be used as exchange activity spaces to foster a sense of community together with local residents.

Lee Seongheon, Mayor of Seodaemun-gu, said, "There had been difficulties in using programs due to the lack of dedicated space for out-of-school youth, so I am very pleased that a new space has been created, and we will actively support youth to nurture various dreams."

The 'Seodaemun-gu Out-of-School Youth Support Center' operates from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and is closed on weekends and public holidays.
