Men Cleaning a Messy Unmanned Store in Busan
Owner "Truly Grateful... Wants to Show Appreciation"
Customers who visited an unmanned store were seen cleaning up all the spilled drinks inside the store as if it were their own business, and this scene has become a hot topic.
On the 5th, YTN reported on a good deed that took place on the 1st at an unmanned snack bar in Daeyeon-dong, Busan. In the early morning that day, a box of canned drinks that had been stacked suddenly collapsed, spilling drinks on the floor and making a mess inside the store.
When daylight came, four men entered the store, saw the scene, and went to the area where the drinks had spilled to start cleaning up. They took off their outerwear and rolled up their sleeves before beginning a thorough cleaning. The men placed the scattered items back on the shelves, and one man knelt down and wiped the spilled drinks off the floor with tissue paper.
The store quickly became clean, and only after finishing the cleaning did they choose the food they wanted to eat. The men’s cleaning efforts were fully captured on the unmanned store’s closed-circuit television (CCTV).
The owner of the unmanned store, Mr. A, who checked the CCTV later, expressed his gratitude to the men. Mr. A said, "While some people eat and leave without cleaning up, I am truly thankful that these men cleaned up even though they were not the ones who made the mess." He also reportedly expressed a desire to show a small token of appreciation to the men.
Netizens who heard the news responded with comments such as "People who deserve praise," "A touching story. Their kind hearts are admirable," "Whether others see it or not, good deeds will eventually be recognized by others," and "A heartwarming story."
