Conducting Election Neutrality Training for Public Officials
On the 5th, Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam held the March regular assembly in the large conference room of the county office, attended by about 100 public officials.
At this regular assembly, commendations were awarded to 7 public officials and civilians for their contributions to national and provincial administration, including emergency preparedness work in 2023, as well as to outstanding departments and towns/villages for their performance in major county administration tasks such as the 2023 self-evaluation of key tasks.
In addition, to prepare for the 22nd National Assembly election, Park Jeong-mi, the guidance manager of the Hapcheon-gun Election Commission, was invited to conduct election neutrality education for public officials centered on case studies, helping officials understand election law violations.
County Governor Kim Yoon-cheol said, “I sincerely congratulate the departments and awardees who have done their best to promote national and county administration and have received this honorable award today,” adding, “As the 22nd National Assembly election approaches, the neutrality of public officials in elections is increasingly emphasized. Please keep in mind the contents of today’s education and be especially careful in your actions so as not to unintentionally violate the duty of election neutrality.”
