Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province will support ID photo shooting from this month to ease the economic burden on young job seekers.
The 'Bucheon Youth Photo Dream' project was first implemented last year as a youth proposal project and received very high satisfaction. Accordingly, the city plans to support ID photo shooting for certificates and interviews for about 320 young job seekers this year as well.
Eligible applicants are young job seekers aged 18 to 39 (born between 1985 and 2006, with 2006-born applicants limited to graduates of specialized high schools for employment purposes) who reside in Bucheon.
This year, unlike last year, applications will be accepted in two periods: the first half from March 1 to May 31, and the second half from July 1 to September 30. If there are remaining slots, additional applications will be accepted from October 1 to November 30.
Each person can use the service once per year, and if not used within one month after selection, the eligibility will expire. Applications can be submitted through the integrated application system operated by the Gyeonggi Job Foundation.
The photo studio supporting ID photo shooting this year was selected through public recruitment and screening, considering accessibility for youth, availability of suits, and professionalism. 'The Joeun Family Photo' was chosen.
Bucheon City is carrying out various projects to help young people succeed in job seeking. At 'Bucheon Youth Leader#' located at Bucheon Songnae Station, diverse employment support services are provided, including customized employment consulting between job seekers and employers, aptitude tests, AI and virtual reality (VR) interview experiences, video interview rooms, and free rental of interview suits.
