By investor type, foreigners and institutions net bought 593.6 billion KRW and 41 billion KRW, respectively. Meanwhile, individuals net sold 622.1 billion KRW.
By sector, insurance rose 3.89%. Machinery, steel & metals, and electronics each increased by more than 2%, while distribution, securities, and manufacturing rose more than 1%. Conversely, textiles & apparel, transportation & warehousing, telecommunications, services, and construction fell more than 1%.
Among the top market capitalization stocks, Samsung Electronics closed at 74,900 KRW, up 1,500 KRW (2.04%) from the previous trading day. KB Financial surged 8.66%, and SK Hynix and POSCO Holdings rose 6%. Additionally, POSCO Future M increased 5.52%, and Samsung C&T rose 4.02%. On the other hand, Celltrion and NAVER fell 2.00% and 1.54%, respectively.
On this day, 438 KOSPI stocks rose without any hitting the upper limit, 445 stocks fell without any hitting the lower limit, and 51 stocks remained unchanged.
The KOSDAQ closed at 872.97, up 10.01 points (1.16%) from the previous trading day.
By investor type, foreigners net bought 213.9 billion KRW, while individuals net sold 206.9 billion KRW.
By sector, semiconductors rose 3.87%, and other services and computer services increased more than 2%. Machinery equipment, paper & wood, finance, IT components, and metals each rose more than 1%. Conversely, internet fell 2.45%, and chemicals and broadcasting services declined more than 1%.
Among the top market capitalization stocks, EcoPro BM closed at 270,000 KRW, up 3,500 KRW (1.31%) from the previous trading day. Hugel rose 10.11%, and HPSP jumped 8.95%. Alteogen increased 4.11%, and Rainbow Robotics rose 3.10%. On the other hand, Enchem fell 6.60%, and JYP Ent. and Celltrion Pharm fell 2.04% and 1.44%, respectively.
On this day, 759 KOSDAQ stocks rose, including 9 stocks hitting the upper limit such as SP Soft, Sammok S-Form, and Jeryong Electric. Without any hitting the lower limit, 804 stocks fell, and 85 stocks remained unchanged.
