Real estate auction data specialist Gigi Auction announced on the 4th that it will provide free access to auction property information through the ‘Jeonse Damage Auction Information Support Center’ to help quickly resolve Jeonse fraud cases.

Jiji Auction "Free Disclosure of Jeonse Damage Auction Property Information"

Starting this month, Gigi Auction operates the Jeonse Damage Auction Information Support Center and currently provides free information on about 2,000 auction properties with the Korea Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG) as the creditor and about 3,000 upcoming auction properties as of March. Additional Jeonse damage cases collected through reports will be disclosed in the future.

When auctions are conducted by the court, related data is frequently updated, and the progress status such as successful bids and failed bids must be monitored. The auction process can take several months, making it difficult for victims or related agency personnel to individually investigate and manage the cases.

Therefore, Gigi Auction will provide detailed information on related auction cases free of charge at the same level as paid members until Jeonse damage is eradicated. In addition, various conveniences such as expert consultations, links to related agencies, and reporting functions will be offered.

Institutions supporting Jeonse victims will also be able to check auction progress free of charge, which is expected to facilitate counseling and response. A large amount of information will also be disclosed to auction investors, which is expected to help recover the amount of damage.

The Jeonse Damage Auction Information Support Center can be used for free after signing up and verifying membership on the Gigi Auction website.

Kang Eun, director of Gigi Auction, said, "Seeing the rapidly increasing number of auction properties related to Jeonse damage, we decided to open the listings for free as part of ESG management, believing that contributing to social stability is as important as corporate profit." He added, "We hope this activity will help victims recover to some extent, and we will continue to fulfill our social responsibilities if needed in the future."
