Donation of Junior Sponsorship to Didimdol Foundation
"Happy to Participate in a Meaningful Cause"
Last year’s Korean Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Tour top winner with 3 victories, Ko Gun-taek, contributed to the development of junior golf players.
On the 4th, he donated 20 million won to the public interest foundation Didimdol Foundation. Ko Gun-taek said, "I am glad to participate in the meaningful work of the Didimdol Foundation. I want to help, even if just a little, through social contribution activities that allow junior golf players to improve their skills." The donation will be used to support various activities such as the nationwide social contribution Club D Dream Tree and Club D Amateur Eco Championship tournaments promoted by the Didimdol Foundation and Idoga Co., Ltd., as well as mentoring programs for nurturing junior golf players.
Attending the donation ceremony were Ko Gun-taek, Lee Seok-ho, head of the Daebo Construction golf team, Jung Jong-chan, CSO vice president of Idoga, and Yeo Ji-ye, secretary general of the Didimdol Foundation. The Didimdol Foundation was established in June last year to support world-class golf players and expand the base of golf. It has been certified as a designated public interest corporation by the Ministry of Economy and Finance and is actively promoting social contribution activities.
