In particular, the inland central and Gyeongbuk inland areas will experience a temperature difference of about 15 degrees Celsius between day and night. Temperatures will gradually rise until the 5th, becoming similar to the average for this time of year. Throughout the week, temperatures are expected to remain at typical levels for this season, with no severe cold spells anticipated.
The highest daytime temperatures are expected to be 11 degrees in Seoul, 8 degrees in Incheon, 10 degrees in Suwon, 11 degrees in Chuncheon, 8 degrees in Gangneung, 12 degrees in Cheongju, 12 degrees in Daejeon, 13 degrees in Jeonju, 14 degrees in Gwangju, 13 degrees in Daegu, 14 degrees in Busan, and 15 degrees in Jeju.
Rain is expected to begin between 3 PM and 6 PM in Jeju, Jeolla, and Gyeongnam regions, and will likely expand to most areas nationwide by the 5th.
From the 4th, expected precipitation amounts are approximately 5 mm in Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi (excluding the northwest), 5 to 30 mm on the east coast and mountainous areas of Gangwon, about 5 mm inland in Gangwon, 10 to 30 mm on the southern coast of Jeonnam, 5 to 20 mm in Gwangju, Jeonnam (excluding the southern coast), and southern Jeonbuk, 10 to 30 mm in Busan, Ulsan, and the southern coast of Gyeongnam, 5 to 20 mm inland in Gyeongnam and southern Daegu/Gyeongbuk, 5 to 10 mm in Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, Chungbuk, northern Gyeongbuk, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo, and 20 to 60 mm in Jeju Island.
Meanwhile, fine dust concentrations are expected to be 'bad' in the Chungcheong, Honam, and Yeongnam regions, and 'moderate' in other areas. Fine dust from the previous day will remain in most regions, and due to stagnant air, domestically generated fine dust will accumulate, leading to higher concentrations.
