Automatic Conversion Between Regular Reports Possible
On the 3rd, the Financial Supervisory Service announced that it has improved the DART editor functions to make it easier for disclosure document submitters to prepare disclosure documents.
First, new features were created to make it easier to prepare disclosure documents. Automatic conversion between business, quarterly, and semi-annual reports, and a PDF file attachment function were newly introduced. Additionally, functions such as find-and-replace for keywords and font style copying were developed. Compatibility and stability with commercial programs (such as Hangul and Word) were also enhanced.
Support for checking disclosure content was also added. A spell-check function was introduced to easily detect and correct typos and spacing errors. An automatic calculation function for formulas such as block sums, averages, and multiplications in tables was also created.
The convenience of browsing disclosures was improved as well. A hyperlink setting function was newly introduced to allow convenient navigation to specific items within disclosure documents.
Any disclosure document submitter can access the Financial Supervisory Service DART submission website to download the 'DART editor' or update the existing editor for use.
The Financial Supervisory Service stated, "Disclosure officers can perform disclosure preparation and submission tasks more conveniently and efficiently," adding, "This reduces input errors, enhances the reliability of disclosures, and facilitates easy navigation between key items within documents, thereby improving the convenience for disclosure users."
The Financial Supervisory Service plans to provide practical training in cooperation with related organizations and will offer video guides for submitters who find it difficult to attend the training.
