On that day, Trump secured 51 delegates by sweeping all the Republican caucuses held across the party. According to local foreign media predictions, Trump also achieved a landslide victory in the mostly concluded Michigan and Idaho caucuses.

In the Michigan primary held on the 27th, Trump dominated with 68% of the vote, far ahead of former Ambassador Haley, who received 27%. In this caucus, which selects 39 out of 55 delegates, Trump is expected to secure most of the delegates. Nikki Haley, former U.N. Ambassador who was defeated by Trump in her hometown of South Carolina, faced another crushing defeat this time as well.

Having already solidified his position as the Republican candidate, Trump is expected to firmly establish his standing through the so-called 'Super Tuesday' scheduled for the 5th, three days later.

At a rally in Richmond on the same day, Trump said, "I won big in Michigan and Missouri. It's almost a crazy result," and raised his voice, saying, "November 5th is an important day. We will declare the firing of 'the incompetent and sleepy' Joe Biden, who ruined the country."

On the 5th, simultaneous primaries will be held in 15 states including California, Virginia, and Massachusetts, as well as in the U.S. territory of American Samoa, selecting over 30% of the delegates in both the Democratic and Republican parties. Prior to this, voting will take place at the Washington DC Republican caucus on the 3rd. Then, a caucus will be held in North Dakota on the 4th.

The Washington Post (WP) reported, "Former President Trump has won all the Republican primaries held so far and is expected to secure the nomination by mid-March," adding, "Former Ambassador Haley is nonetheless determined to remain in the race until 'Super Tuesday.'"
