Lotte Mart and Supermarkets, Main Sponsors of the 'National Student Ski Competition by Category'

Prize Money Sponsorship and Additional Giveaway Prizes at the Awards Ceremony

Lotte Mart and Super announced on the 3rd that they will be the main sponsors of the '39th National Student Ski Championships,' held over two days starting from the 4th.

Lotte Mart and Super will sponsor the prize money for the awards ceremony of this competition. Participants will receive goods shaped like Nunmungjji, the main character of the offline membership service 'Snow Plan' on the Lotte Mart GO app. Additionally, during the awards ceremony, a raffle will be held where 10 people will win Lotte Mart gift certificates worth 50,000 KRW each as prizes.

This competition will be held at Yongpyong Resort in Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do, divided into four categories: elementary, middle, high school, and university divisions. The events are 'Giant Slalom' and 'Slalom,' which are alpine skiing disciplines. About 100 domestic athletes will participate.

Previously, Lotte Mart and Super have sponsored various sports events. Since 2015, they have annually sponsored the professional baseball team Lotte Giants and have also sponsored female professional players belonging to the Lotte Golf Team. For the '2022 International Children's Marathon' event, they sponsored about 9,500 bottles of PB (private brand) bottled water.

She added, "We will continue to sponsor various sports events to not only nurture promising athletes but also contribute to the overall development of the sports industry."
