Global pop star Rihanna will perform a congratulatory show at the wedding party of Mukesh Ambani's son, the Indian conglomerate heir. The lavish party, which will last for three days, is attracting attention as famous personalities from around the world are expected to attend.
On the 29th of last month (local time), the British daily The Guardian reported capturing Rihanna arriving in India to prepare for her performance at the wedding party of Anant Ambani, Ambani's son. A source said, "The party, attended by the most famous people from India and around the world, will be more luxurious than any other."
The party, held from the 1st to the 3rd of July ahead of the wedding, is known to cost about $129 million (approximately 172.4 billion KRW). Foreign media reported, "The party will offer about 2,500 different dishes over the three days." Rihanna is set to receive $5 million (about 6.6 billion KRW) as her performance fee.
Additionally, American magician and popular YouTuber David Blaine will perform a congratulatory show following Rihanna. Attendees are expected to include Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft (MS), Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, and Ivanka Trump, daughter of former U.S. President Donald Trump.
According to Forbes, Ambani, head of the Indian conglomerate Reliance, which spans energy, textiles, telecommunications, and other sectors, is Asia's richest person with a net worth of $114 billion (approximately 152 trillion KRW). His 27-story mansion in Mumbai is valued at over $1 billion and has been selected by Forbes as the most expensive real estate in the world.

This is not the first time Ambani has spared no expense for his children. At the 2018 wedding of his daughter Isha Ambani, pop star Beyonc? performed a congratulatory show and received about $6 million (approximately 8 billion KRW). The event was also attended by prominent figures from politics and business worldwide, including former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman at the time, Lee Jae-yong.
Meanwhile, Anant Ambani's fianc?e, 29-year-old Radika Merchant, is known as the daughter of a famous entrepreneur who runs the large Indian pharmaceutical company 'Encore Healthcare.'
