Increase in Sell Inquiries for Some Items, Strong Slightly Rising Trend Expected

The golf membership market continues to show strength in popular categories ahead of the full-fledged season in March.

According to Dong-A Membership Trading Center on the 2nd, the average price of 100 major memberships traded nationwide was 256.72 million KRW. This is a 0.12% increase compared to last week. By price range, only the ultra-high price segment fell by 0.10%. The high price segment rose by 0.42%, mid-price by 0.31%, and low price by 0.08%. Dong-A Membership Trading Center analyzed, "Selling offers have surged, making transactions difficult. The firm-to-slightly-bullish trend is expected to continue for the time being, but the rate of increase will slow due to differentiated trends by category."

The average price in the central region is 291.12 million KRW, up 0.13% from last week. Namseoul saw a jump of 3.45% due to inflows of individual and corporate buyers. Giheung rose 0.70%, New Seoul 0.79%, Jungbu 2.04%, Hanyang 1.69%, and Jisan 1.35%. Ultra-high price categories slightly declined amid corporate buyers' cautious stance. Nambu fell 1.25%, Solmore 1.05%, and Jayu 1.67%. Team leader Park Cheon-ju stated, "The central region membership market's upward momentum has been halted due to the appearance of sell orders. The upward trend is expected to slow down for the time being."

The average price in the southern region is 167.68 million KRW, a 0.05% increase compared to last week. Gaya rose 1.11%, Bugok 1.45%, A-One 1.35%, and Dongnae Benest increased by 0.50%. Bora and Asia are accumulating buy orders only, making it difficult to find sell offers. Team leader Lee Yoon-hee predicted, "In the southern region membership market, popular categories are experiencing a shortage of sell orders. The strong market trend is expected to continue."
