35 Participants... A Total of 19 Sessions Held Until Mid-July
Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, will operate the 2024 Changnyeong-gun Agricultural College Youth Farmer Class for 35 young farmers a total of 19 times, once or twice a week until mid-July.
The ‘Changnyeong-gun Agricultural College Youth Farmer Class’ started vigorously with an opening ceremony on the 28th to nurture future farmers and enhance the competitiveness of farmers.
The curriculum includes lectures on tax knowledge and civil law that farmers need to know, followed by business plan writing for start-up farmers, YouTube video editing, smart store sales strategies, live commerce broadcasting, and other content connected to the production and sales of crops to contribute to increasing farmers’ income.
Changnyeong-gun Agricultural College is operated free of charge, and those who complete more than 70% of the total class days will be officially recognized for 70 hours of educational achievement as a special benefit.
In addition, the improvement of farming skills will be surveyed to compare the farming abilities of graduates before and after the education. After the course ends, suggestions and improvements will be collected through instructor evaluations and surveys to be reflected in future curricula.
A county official said, “Through the Changnyeong-gun Agricultural College Youth Farmer Class, we will nurture professional management personnel who will lead future agriculture and do our best to practically help farmers by improving agricultural competitiveness and farm household income.”
