Installation of 6 Fast Chargers at Bukhansan National Park 1st Parking Lot and Sagimak Campsite

Water, an electric vehicle fast charging network, has opened an electric vehicle charging station in Bukhansan National Park, which is visited by more than 6 million people annually. On the 29th, Water announced the opening of 'Water Bukhansan Sagimak Campground' at Sagimak Campground located in Deogyang-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do.

At this location, two ultra-fast chargers (one 200kW dual-arm type) and three slow chargers (7kW) have been installed. The facility can charge a total of five electric vehicles simultaneously. Sagimak Campground is a carbon-neutral campground where only vehicles that emit no air pollutants are allowed. Even if electric vehicle owners do not use the campground, they can enter the Water charging station located at the entrance for charging.

Earlier this month on the 13th, Water also installed four 200kW ultra-fast chargers at 'Water Bukhansan Parking Lot 1.' They also operate six slow chargers.

Yoo Daewon, Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Bright Energy Partners, who oversees Water's electric vehicle charging business, said, "We hope that visitors to Bukhansan seeking a place to rest in the city will use Water's fast charging to reduce carbon emissions and fully protect Bukhansan's ecosystem." He added, "We will continue to operate fast charging facilities in Bukhansan National Park so that zero-emission electric vehicles can visit the national park without worrying about charging."
