Next, an elementary school student will read a letter to the ancestors who led the independence movement, followed by a performance of the song "Eighteen Flowers" about Yu Gwan-sun, the singing of the March 1st Independence Movement song, a floral tribute, and the three cheers for independence to conclude the event.

Jungnang-gu Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi said, "Through this 105th Anniversary of the March 1st Independence Movement Commemoration Ceremony, I hope it becomes an opportunity to once again engrave in our hearts the spirit of autonomous independence and great unity shown by our ancestors," adding, "I hope it will be a precious opportunity to wisely overcome hardships and pledge a hopeful future with the united spirit of the March 1st Movement that turned crisis into opportunity."
