Actor Ji Seung-hyun's Relay Talent Donation for Promoting Artists' Employment Insurance
Workers' Welfare Corporation: "Over 210,000 Artists Enrolled in 3 Years Since Implementation"
Why was General Yang Gyu from the popular TV drama "Goryeo-Khitan War" summoned to employment insurance?
The Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service (Director Park Jong-gil) introduced a warm past episode of actor Ji Seung-hyun, who appeared as General Yang Gyu of Goryeo.
Earlier, on August 24 last year, the Service released three videos on YouTube. Famous artists in music, broadcasting, and fine arts, who sympathized with the purpose of the artist employment insurance system, participated in a relay talent donation, delivering warm support messages to fellow and senior-junior artists.
One of the famous artists who participated at that time was actor Ji Seung-hyun. His appearance promoting the artist employment insurance system has recently been recalled on YouTube, becoming a hot topic.
The artist employment insurance, implemented on December 10, 2020, has become a blockbuster item with 210,000 artists enrolled in just three years. It is evaluated to have settled well among workers in the cultural and artistic fields.
Actor Ji Seung-hyun left a strong impression in the movie "Wind" and gained popularity by appearing in famous dramas such as "Descendants of the Sun," "Mr. Sunshine," "Why Oh Soo-jae?," and "Lovers."
Recently, he has been praised for his overwhelming acting skills in the role of General Yang Gyu in KBS's "Goryeo-Khitan War."
The Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service has assigned dedicated experts to the "Seoul Special Type Worker Center" artist enrollment department to assist nationwide artists and employers in the artist employment insurance enrollment.
