Sun Hong-gyu, CEO of Hanshin Engineering & Construction, and about 30 employees belonging to the in-house volunteer group ‘Hanshin Hyo (孝) Plus Volunteer Group’ carried out meal service volunteer activities such as meal preparation, serving, and dishwashing at the Cheonsa Free Meal Center in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the same day.
CEO Sun said, “It was deeply meaningful to serve a warm meal to the senior citizens,” adding, “Efforts for regional coexistence are duties as a corporate citizen, and we will continue to engage in various social contribution activities to practice ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management.”
Since its establishment in 2015, the Hanshin Hyo Plus Volunteer Group has carried out various forms of social contribution activities, including ▲cleaning the National Cemetery burial grounds ▲maintaining Seoul Forest ▲distributing briquettes in Gangnam Guryeong Village and the Sanggye-dong area ▲free meal service activities.
