Promotion for 3 Years Until February 2026
On the 28th, Icheon City in Gyeonggi Province signed a business agreement with the Welcome Welfare Foundation to promote the 'Icheon City 24-Hour Childcare Center' project. The operation of the 24-hour childcare center is a campaign promise pursued by the 8th term of Icheon City to alleviate the childcare burden of dual-income families.

Through this agreement, the city and the Welcome Welfare Foundation will promote the operation of the 24-hour childcare center for three years from March until February 2026.
The 24-hour childcare center, scheduled for pilot operation at the end of March, will be open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and available to any Icheon citizen with children from infants to elementary school students (ages 0 to 12). The usage fee is 1,000 KRW per hour, and those interested can apply by phone or visit.
Kim Kyung-hee, mayor of Icheon City, said, "Through the successful operation of the center, we will make Icheon a child-friendly city for raising children."
