Masan Happo-gu, Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, signed a business agreement on the 28th with E-Mart Masan Branch for the 2024 'Hope Sharing Project' to support low-income groups in the local community.
This agreement is part of E-Mart Masan Branch's social contribution project, which was first established in 2014 through mutual cooperation between the public and private sectors to support marginalized groups in the region and improve residents' welfare. This year, approximately 8.5 million KRW worth of sponsorship items will be provided for four projects: decorating study rooms for new students, supporting summer supplies for single-person households of young and middle-aged adults, sharing holiday hope packages, and supporting kimchi for the winter season.
Store Manager Kim Dowan said, "Through the promotion of the 2024 'Hope Sharing Project,' I hope to offer some comfort and help to those in need. We will continue to strive to contribute to the local community."
Mayor Moon Sangsik of Masan Happo-gu Office stated, "The social contribution activities promoted through the agreement since 2014 have become a good example in the local community. We will spare no administrative support to ensure smooth assistance to low-income groups in need."
