Curly, the First E-commerce Company to Offer Dawn Delivery in Gyeongju and Pohang

Expansion of Yeongnam Region's Saetbyeol Delivery Area
Utilizing Changwon Logistics Center as the Hub of the Southeast Region

Kurly announced on the 28th that it has expanded its Yeongnam region dawn delivery area to Gyeongju and Pohang. Among domestic e-commerce companies, Kurly is the first to offer dawn delivery service in the Gyeongju and Pohang areas.

Consumers in Gyeongju and Pohang can now receive products before 8 a.m. the next day if they place orders by 11 p.m., thanks to the expansion of the dawn delivery area. The dawn delivery service will launch on the 29th.

The dawn delivery for Gyeongju and Pohang is handled by Kurly's 'Changwon Logistics Center' in Changwon, Gyeongnam, which was established in the first half of last year for the Southeast region logistics. It is Kurly's first logistics center outside the metropolitan area, featuring a total of eight floors equipped with ambient, refrigerated, and frozen storage capabilities.

Along with dawn delivery, the 'Purple Box' service will also be introduced. The Purple Box, an eco-friendly reusable packaging, can maintain refrigerated products at 10°C for 12 hours based on an ambient temperature of 28°C, and frozen products can be stored at minus 18°C for about 11 hours.

With Gyeongju and Pohang added to the dawn delivery areas, the nationwide expansion of Kurly's 'Cul-se-gwon' (Kurly + station area) is gaining momentum. Kurly started its dawn delivery service centered on the metropolitan area in 2015 and has since expanded its delivery areas to Chungcheong region, Daegu, Busan, Ulsan, Yangsan, Gimhae, and Changwon. A Kurly representative stated, "We plan to continue focusing on discovering and reviewing marketable areas to further expand the dawn delivery service."
