Three Vice Chairpersons and Six New Subcommittees Established to Begin Two-Year Term
Korea Startup Forum (Kospo) announced on the 28th that Han Sang-woo, CEO of Wizdom, has been elected as the new chairman.
Kospo held a general assembly of delegates at Lunit headquarters in Gangnam-gu the day before, and unanimously elected CEO Han, who was the sole candidate at last month's board meeting, as the 4th chairman.

New Chairman Han said, "Watching the decline in startups over the past few years, I have become as concerned about the future of our economy as I am about the low birthrate," adding, "I will focus all my capabilities on the mission of making Korea a great country to start a business again."
Additionally, upon Chairman Han's recommendation, Kim Min-ji, CEO of B-Dream, Lee Joo-wan, CEO of Megazone Cloud, and Koo Tae-eon, CEO of Tech & Law Ventures, were appointed as vice chairmen. This is the first time Kospo has appointed vice chairmen.
The chairman team will perform overall roles for the efficient operation of Kospo and maximizing the growth of member companies over the next two years. In particular, they decided to promote an operational system centered on councils and committees to revitalize the startup community.
The newly established committee chairpersons are as follows: Startup Community (Ryu Jun-woo, CEO of Bomap; Kim Tae-jin, CEO of Plasystem), External Cooperation & Public Relations (Lee Joo-wan, CEO of Megazone Cloud), Growth & Development (Yang Jun-chul, CEO of OnOffMix), Policy & System (Koo Tae-eon, CEO of Tech & Law Ventures), ESG (Han Jung-hoon, CEO of Home Story Life), Women & Region (Kim Min-ji, CEO of B-Dream), totaling six committees.
