On the 27th, Over 300 Delegates Attend the 'Regular General Meeting'
The Hampyeong County Branch of the Korea Senior Citizens Association (Branch Chief Jo Yong-mu) held the 2024 regular general meeting on the 27th at the Theme Video Hall of Jeonnam Hampyeong Expo Park, with about 300 branch delegates in attendance.

At the regular general meeting, starting with last year's audit report, key business and project progress reports, approval of this year's major business plans and budget settlements, and agenda items such as delegation of voting rights for budget (proposal) changes were presented and unanimously approved by the delegates, followed by discussions on the operation of senior centers.
Branch Chief Jo Yong-mu stated, "We will continuously strive to improve the welfare of the elderly in Hampyeong County, focusing on revitalizing senior centers in the eup and myeon branch offices."
County Governor Lee Sang-ik said, "This year as well, we will take the lead in enhancing welfare by operating health programs for seniors, creating jobs for the elderly, and supporting surgery expenses to ensure a happy and healthy old age."
