Participation in SKT-Startup Joint Entry Pavilion
"Reducing Dubbing Time and Cost Burden"
Hudson AI, an artificial intelligence (AI) dubbing service provider, will participate in 'MWC 2024' held in Barcelona, Spain, from the 26th to the 29th (local time). Through participation in MWC, the world's largest mobile exhibition, the company plans to establish a foothold for entering the European market.
This exhibition will be held at the promising startup pavilion '4YFN (4 Years from Now)', which showcases startups with potential to participate in the main MWC exhibition in four years, within the SK Telecom-Startup Joint Entry Pavilion. Hudson AI will share collaboration cases with SK Telecom and SK Broadband, as well as its AI dubbing technology.
Hudson AI creates natural multilingual dubbing voices by utilizing the original content's voice and acting emotions through voice and video AI technology, and provides a lip-sync generation service that matches the dubbed voice.
Currently, the company is collaborating with domestic media companies to effectively promote the global expansion of K-content. It has dubbed three commercial films for SK Broadband's B tv service. This is the first case in Korea of dubbing feature-length films using AI voice technology.
Following its participation in CES this year, Hudson AI plans to establish a foothold for entering the European market through MWC. The strategy is to increase recognition in Western European regions such as Germany, France, Italy, and Spain, where there is high demand for dubbing worldwide, and to seize collaboration opportunities with telecommunications and media platforms.
Shin Hyunjin, CEO of Hudson AI, said, "We reduce the time and cost burdens of dubbing while providing an immersive dubbing content viewing experience that was previously unattainable by utilizing AI technology. We aim to be a partner supporting media content companies' entry into Europe through AI technology."
Meanwhile, the 'SK Telecom-Startup Joint Entry Pavilion' prepared by SK Telecom will exhibit items from a total of 15 startups. SK Telecom supports these startups with exclusive exhibition spaces, costs, overseas buyer discovery, PR, and plans to continuously support their global expansion even after the exhibition.
