Actress Lee Ji-ah has announced that she will respond firmly to malicious rumors.
On the 27th, her agency BH Entertainment stated, "Malicious slanders, personal attacks, and indiscriminate false information related to Lee Ji-ah continue to be posted and spread," adding, "We will thoroughly track down and hold those responsible legally without tolerance to eradicate posts that damage her character and reputation." They continued, "We are collecting related materials through our own monitoring system. We are receiving reports regarding illegal activities openly occurring in various online communities, YouTube, social networking services (SNS), and real-time comments," and emphasized, "Based on these materials, we will proceed with legal actions such as civil and criminal lawsuits through our legal representative, the law firm Yulchon, and will respond strongly without any leniency or settlement under any circumstances."
They also said, "BH Entertainment will continue to actively collect evidence and conduct self-monitoring of malicious posts to protect the rights and interests of our affiliated actors," and requested, "Since the materials sent by fans greatly help in legal preparations, we ask for continuous reports."
Lee Ji-ah debuted in the entertainment industry in 2004 through a commercial and has appeared in dramas such as 'The Legend', 'Beethoven Virus', 'My Mister', and the 'Penthouse' series. She is currently starring in JTBC's 'The Killer's Shopping List.'
