Haenam-gun Supports Guarantee Fees for Jeonse Deposit Return Guarantee for Homeless Tenants

Up to 300,000 KRW Guarantee Fee Support, Apply at Eupmyeon Office

Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do, will implement a support project for the guarantee fee of the Jeonse Deposit Return Guarantee for non-homeowners renting within the jurisdiction.

According to the county on the 26th, the support target is non-homeowners residing in Haenam-gun who have subscribed to the Jeonse Deposit Return Guarantee through Jeonse Deposit Return Guarantee insurance (HUG, HF, SGI) with a valid guarantee effect as of the application date. The maximum support for the guarantee fee is 300,000 KRW.

The support is aimed at tenants with a rental deposit of 300 million KRW or less, or an annual income of 50 million KRW (youth), 60 million KRW (non-youth), or 75 million KRW (newlyweds) or less.

However, tenants living in rental housing owned by registered rental business operators under the Special Act on Private Rental Housing and cases where the tenant is a corporation are excluded from the support.

A county official said, “This support for the guarantee fee was implemented to expand subscription to the Jeonse Deposit Return Guarantee as a preventive measure against Jeonse fraud damage,” adding, “We will actively strive to help alleviate economic burdens and stabilize housing.”
