"Walking Helps Mental Health"
Actor Kim Seon-ho shared an update after a long time. On the 'by PDC' YouTube channel, a video titled "Actor Kim Seon-ho's Commute to Daehakro" was posted. The video captures Kim Seon-ho's daily life as he moves through stages in dramas and plays.
Kim Seon-ho walked to Daehakro, the location of the theater performance. He said, "I wanted to show a casual and comfortable side of myself, but it feels awkward," adding, "I was busy for a while because I was working on two dramas and two performances."
He also said, "Other senior actors and cast members have many hobbies, but I don't have any, so I'm worried," and added, "My only hobby is walking." In particular, Kim Seon-ho mentioned that he has been dedicating a lot of time to exercise.
He explained, "I walk for an hour to Daehakro, walk for another hour, then work out for three hours at the gym, and walk for an hour back home, exercising for six hours a day. If I don't do this, I just lie down at home, and lying down all the time doesn't help my mental health, so walking like this has been a great help to me."
When the video crew asked, "Don't people recognize you when you walk around?" Kim Seon-ho replied, "Some people recognize me, but they don't talk to me. Occasionally, someone asks for a photo," and added, "It's been a while since I've done this kind of filming, so it feels awkward."
He continued, "As an actor and as a character, when I stand in front of people, I have the mindset of 'this is acting,' but when I stand in front of people as Kim Seon-ho, not as a character, at award ceremonies or variety shows, I tend to become either over the top or shy," he confessed.
