Ko Kyung-ae, a member of the Gwangju Metropolitan City Seo-gu Council, announced on the 26th that she received a plaque of appreciation from the Sinam Village Dangsanje Promotion Committee at the reenactment event of the ‘Sinam Village Dangsanje’ held on the 24th to celebrate Jeongwol Daeboreum.
Kim Gye-jung, Chairman of the Promotion Committee (Sinam Village Dangsanje Promotion Committee), stated, “Chairperson Ko Kyung-ae has contributed to the development of the traditional seasonal custom, Pungamgol 'Sinam Village Dangsanje,' and laid the foundation for community harmony through her exceptional dedication and enthusiastic participation. We express our gratitude for her efforts and present this plaque of appreciation.”
Chairperson Ko Kyung-ae said, “I thank all those involved for providing a meaningful opportunity to pray for the village’s well-being and to introduce traditional culture to the younger generation through the Pungamgol Sinam Village Dangsanje event,” adding, “The Seo-gu Council will also strive to ensure that the village’s unique traditional culture continues.”
