Recruiting Volunteer Families Until March 8... Participate in Volunteer Activities Once a Month on Saturdays from March to June

Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) is recruiting the '29th Haedoduri Family Volunteer Group,' where families participate together in volunteer activities to practice sharing within the local community, until March 8.

Haedoduri means 'striving to create a better world.' This volunteer group is Jungnang-gu's representative volunteer team that creates a warm neighborly community by having parents and children volunteer together. Since 2010, 348 families and 1,162 people have participated in the activities.

Families residing in the area with children in elementary school or older who can participate sincerely are eligible to join.

Families wishing to participate can apply online through the Jungnang-gu Office website and then submit the application form to the person in charge via email.

Volunteer activities will be held once a month on Saturdays for four months from March to June.

Main activities include ▲ chatting and meal assistance for elderly residents in nursing homes ▲ sharing love cookies for low-income households ▲ cleaning the graves of famous people and learning related history ▲ making and sharing eco-friendly scrubbers, among others.

Ryu Gyeong-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, “The activities of the Haedoduri Family Volunteer Group, which expands family love into neighborly love, will be a driving force in creating a happy Jungnang. We ask for the active participation of families who wish to join this happy journey.”
