NH Nonghyup Bank, 'Youth Leap Account Restart' Event

NH Nonghyup Bank announced on the 23rd that it will hold an event offering prizes through a lottery for customers who convert their Youth Hope Savings to NH Youth Leap Accounts by the 15th of next month.

The event targets customers who have matured their Youth Hope Savings accounts opened at Nonghyup Bank or other banks and convert them to a lump-sum payment NH Youth Leap Account between the 18th and the 15th of next month. A total of 1,410 winners will be selected to receive prizes including Dyson Airwrap (5 winners), PlayStation (5 winners), Baedal Minjok mobile gift certificates worth 20,000 KRW (400 winners), and Starbucks Americano coupons (1,000 winners).

The preferential interest rate items for the NH Youth Leap Account include 0.5%p for salary transfer, 0.2%p for card usage, 0.10%p for new customers of the bank or customers who matured NH Youth Hope Savings, 0.2%p for marketing consent, and up to 0.5%p for income requirements, providing a maximum preferential interest rate of 1.5%p per year. Upon subscription, the maximum interest rate applied is 6.0% per year (a fixed basic interest rate of 4.5% for the first three years, as of February 22, 2024).

An official from Nonghyup Bank stated, "We prepared this event to further promote products for asset formation among the youth," and added, "As a national bank, we will do our best to practice win-win finance."
