The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency announced this year's popular music support projects on the 23rd, including this initiative. The newly established "Support for New IP Development and Utilization Based on Musicians' Activities" targets agencies and labels to which musicians belong. Thirteen entities will be selected and evaluated, with up to 200 million KRW provided for ranks 1 to 8, and up to 100 million KRW for ranks 9 to 13.

Another newly established project is the "Support for Concurrent Online and Offline Performances." This project aims to strengthen the production capabilities of small and medium-sized music companies by utilizing technological elements in popular music content IP. The ultimate goal is a technology-converged performance format where online and offline coexist. Six tasks will be selected targeting performance producers and planners, with up to 400 million KRW in support.

In response to the rapidly increasing demand for face-to-face performances, the "Space Planning Type Performance Hosting Support" will continue this year as well. Similar to last year, it will be divided into large-scale and small-to-medium scale categories, providing 70 million KRW (for 4 tasks) and 40 million KRW (for 7 tasks) respectively. The "Overseas Tour Hosting Support" will also be expanded compared to last year. Eight tasks will be selected with up to 50 million KRW support, assisting musicians who have scheduled overseas tours with expenses, rental fees, and promotional marketing.
