Samsung Electronics announced on the 23rd that it will start selling the 'Bespoke AI Combo,' which can handle both washing and drying in one unit, from the 24th.
The Bespoke AI Combo is an integrated washer-dryer product with the largest drying capacity in Korea, combining a 25kg capacity drum washing machine and a 15kg capacity inverter heat pump dryer in one unit. It features improved drying performance, overcoming the shortcomings of past heater-type condensing combo washers, achieving drying performance comparable to standalone dryers.
Using a high-efficiency inverter heat pump that circulates warm air through a large-capacity heat exchanger, it can wash and dry about 3kg of laundry, roughly 17 shirts, in just 99 minutes. Compared to heater-type condensing dryers, it can reduce drying time by up to 60%, and the maximum temperature inside the drum during normal drying does not exceed 60℃, reducing concerns about shrinkage or damage to the clothes being dried.

The Bespoke AI Combo expands user experience through the large touchscreen display 'AI Hub,' enabling interconnection with other devices and multimedia use, and supports customized washing with AI-based functions. The newly introduced AI Hub features a 7-inch full-touch LCD panel with a color UI, nine times larger in area than the previous screen, allowing users to grasp desired information at a glance. From the AI Hub, users can monitor and control the status of other appliances connected via 'SmartThings,' and check device status, air quality, and energy usage by room in the home through a 3D 'Map View' that reflects the actual house layout.
Additionally, users can continue watching content from the living room smart TV, answer calls coming to their smartphones, and use multimedia functions such as the music streaming service Spotify and internet browser. Voice control is also available through 'Bixby.'
Various AI features previously applied to the 'Bespoke Grande AI' have also been upgraded. The 'AI Vibration Noise Reduction System' achieves low noise levels of 51.7dB(A) during spinning by using an upgraded vibration detection sensor, a two-stage damper, and a ball balancer based on a learned AI algorithm. The 'AI Customized Course' adjusts washing and drying times by detecting the weight, dirtiness, and dryness of the laundry, while the 'AI Auto Detergent Dispenser' not only senses the weight of the laundry but also learns the recent dirtiness to dispense the appropriate amount of detergent.
Other environmentally considerate features include the 'AI Saving Mode,' which optimizes energy efficiency to reduce electricity consumption, and the 'Microplastic Reduction Course,' which reduces microplastic emissions by minimizing friction with delicate bubbles.
The Bespoke AI Combo will be released in a dark silver steel color made of metal material, with a retail price of 3,999,000 KRW. Sales will begin first on Samsung.com and online platforms, with sequential deliveries starting from March 4.
