Pre-Inspection of Agency Facilities and Safety Training for Personnel Before Pilot License Exams
The Seohae Regional Coast Guard Agency (Chief Kim Inchang) is conducting inspections of water leisure license agencies ahead of the '2024 Water Leisure Operator License Exam' schedule.
According to Seohae Agency on the 22nd, this inspection was promoted to ensure the fairness and reliability of the operator license agencies, as well as to conduct safety inspections of workplaces and safety education for workers.

The main points include △ verification of qualifications for examiners and safety education instructors △ verification of facility and safety equipment requirements △ education on fair business execution and prevention of civil complaints.
On the 21st, the Seohae Coast Guard visited the Yeosu testing center and is checking six agencies within the jurisdiction, including testing centers and exemption education centers in Gunsan and Mokpo.
A Seohae Agency official stated, “According to the Water Leisure Safety Act, to operate powered water leisure equipment, one must obtain a general (Class 1, Class 2) or yacht operator license. Those wishing to obtain the license can apply online through the ‘Water Leisure Comprehensive Information’ website or visit a nearby testing center or Coast Guard station for in-person application.”
