"Don't Give Up on Employment"… Icheon-si 'Cheongnyeon Challenge Support Project' Recruitment

Participation Allowance and Incentives Up to 3 Million Won Provided

Gyeonggi-do Icheon City is recruiting 90 participants on a first-come, first-served basis for the 'Youth Challenge Support Project' to promote social participation and economic activities among young people.


This project targets young people who have given up job searching, children aging out of protective care, residents entering or leaving youth welfare facilities, and North Korean defectors, aiming to encourage their willingness to participate in social activities and support their economic activities.

The project programs consist of close counseling, confidence recovery, career exploration, job competency enhancement, autonomous activities, and external linkage activities. Incentives are provided upon employment after completing the program, and even if employment is not achieved, continuous job search activities and employment support are offered in connection with the National Employment System.


The 'Challenge' program is a 5-week (40-hour) course recruiting 20 participants, providing a participation allowance of 500,000 KRW upon completion. The 'Challenge+' program recruits 40 participants for a 15-week (120-hour) course, offering up to 1,700,000 KRW in participation allowances and incentives. For the 25-week (200-hour) course recruiting 30 participants, a maximum of 3,000,000 KRW is provided as participation allowances and incentives.


Youth wishing to participate can apply through the 'Worknet' website. A city official stated, "We will support young people to regain confidence and achieve their dreams through participation in the program."
