The Air Force's special flight team, the 'Black Eagles,' participated in the Singapore International Airshow. The Singapore International Airshow is one of the world's top three airshows and is being held at Changi International Airport.

The Black Eagles took off from Korea on the 11th to participate in the airshow. The Air Force dispatched nine T-50Bs, including one reserve aircraft, three C-130s for personnel and cargo transport, and over 110 personnel. Participating in the Singapore Airshow held at Changi International Airport, they began the event with the opening ceremony on the 20th and will perform high-difficulty airshows over Singapore's skies until the 25th.

Following Singapore, the Black Eagles plan to move to Clark International Airport on the 28th to participate in the Philippine Airshow. The Philippine Airshow was specially planned this year to commemorate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and the Philippines. During the airshow, the Black Eagles will also conduct a friendship flight with the Philippine Air Force's FA-50PH. The FA-50PH was deployed in the 2017 Marawi battle to combat Islamic extremist rebels, earning high praise from the Philippine military as a 'game changer.'
