Two Hybrid Models Unveiled Locally in Germany
Starting at 177 Million KRW... Domestic Release in Second Half of the Year
A hybrid vehicle will be launched in the new Porsche Panamera.
On the 20th, Porsche additionally unveiled the 'Panamera 4 E-Hybrid' and 'Panamera 4S E-Hybrid' among the new Panamera lineup.
The 'Panamera 4 E-Hybrid' combines an improved 304-horsepower 2.9ℓ V6 biturbo engine with an enhanced 'E-Hybrid system.' The system output is 470 horsepower, with a maximum torque of 66.28 kgf·m, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds. The top speed is 280 km/h. The pure electric driving range has increased to 96 km (WLTP standard).
The 'Panamera 4S E-Hybrid' was developed with a focus on continuous power delivery at high RPM ranges. It is equipped with a 353-horsepower 2.9ℓ 6-cylinder biturbo engine. The system output is 544 horsepower, and the maximum torque is 76.47 kgf·m. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. The top speed is 290 km/h.
All driving performance has been enhanced compared to the previous generation. The new high-voltage battery with a total capacity of 25.9 kWh has about 45% more capacity than before but can be charged in 2 hours and 39 minutes with an 11 kW onboard AC charger. The electric motor allows up to 88 kW regenerative braking, significantly increasing the electric driving range.
All models start in electric mode called 'E-Power Mode.' When the battery charge falls below the minimum level, it automatically switches to Hybrid Auto Mode. In 'E-Hold Mode,' the battery maintains its current charge state. 'E-Charge Mode' charges the battery up to 80% through the internal combustion engine when driving at speeds above 55 km/h.
All new Panamera models come standard with adaptive 2-chamber air suspension, including Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) with 2-valve dampers. Porsche Active Ride Active Suspension is also available on E-Hybrid models. This optimizes traction and cornering while providing a high level of comfort.
The design has also been improved. The front features newly designed standard matrix LED headlights and horizontally positioned additional air intakes. The rear consists of continuously connected taillights and a frameless rear window.
The new 'Panamera 4 E-Hybrid' comes standard with 19-inch wheels, black brake calipers, and matrix LED headlights. High-resolution HD matrix LED lighting is available as an option.
The new 'Panamera 4S E-Hybrid' is equipped with 20-inch wheels in the Panamera Aero design, silver-colored sports tailpipes, and red brake calipers as standard. Brake calipers in Acid Green and black are optional. A 10-piston brake caliper on the front axle is standard. 21-inch wheels and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) are also available as options. The ceramic composite discs measure 440 mm on the front axle and 410 mm on the rear axle.
The German sales prices, including country-specific special specifications, for the new 'Panamera 4 E-Hybrid' and 'Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Executive' are 123,400 euros (approximately 177.73 million KRW) and 134,400 euros, respectively. The 'Panamera 4S E-Hybrid' starts from 138,200 euros. The 'Panamera 4 E-Hybrid' is scheduled to be released domestically in the second half of this year. The price is yet to be determined.
