Jang Geum-yong, the 1st Deputy Mayor of Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, has been conducting on-site inspections of major municipal projects to accelerate innovative growth this year since the 19th.


On the morning of the same day, he visited the construction sites of the Independence Movement Memorial Hall and the Veterans Culture Center in the Masan area to establish a correct historical perspective, discussing the current progress, anticipated issues, and countermeasures together.

In the afternoon, he visited the site for facility improvements at Gwangam Beach, urging the prompt advancement of the project to ensure no inconvenience for summer vacationers this year.


On the 21st, he plans to inspect major project sites in Jinhae-gu. He will visit the site of the Deoksan Household Waste Landfill Phase 3 project for stable disposal of household waste, the Myeongdong Marina Port, which will become a hub for marine leisure, and the Sampohang Fishing Village New Deal 300 project site for the development of fishing villages to check the progress of these projects.


Deputy Mayor Jang stated, “For our city to make 2024 a year that accelerates Changwon’s innovative growth, the successful implementation of major municipal projects is of utmost importance. We will carefully manage projects from the early stages to ensure the first step is not taken incorrectly, and we will also pay special attention to balanced regional development to prevent any area from being neglected.”
