"Must See Horses On Site"... Jeju Livestock Promotion Institute Visits LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam

Kim Dae-cheol, Director of Jeju Livestock Promotion Institute, and the staff visited LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam (Head Eom Young-seok) on the 16th to increase interest and understanding of the horse racing industry.

The Jeju Livestock Promotion Institute is an organization under Jeju Special Self-Governing Province that promotes projects such as the production and distribution of superior livestock breeds for the development of livestock including Jeju horses and native livestock.

Jeju Livestock Promotion Agency executives and employees visited the horse riding land, including the horse facilities at LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam, on the 16th.

On the day of the visit, the delegation toured the stable facilities housing about 1,000 racehorses. They also visited various on-site departments involved in horse racing operations such as doping, broadcasting, and veterinary services. After the tour, they met with Eom Young-seok, Head of the Korea Racing Authority Busan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters, to discuss the future direction and competitiveness of the horse industry.

Eom Young-seok, Head of the Busan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters, said, “The Korea Racing Authority, as the dedicated organization for fostering the horse industry, will actively take the lead to improve the level and ensure sustainable development of the horse industry.”
