The Institute of Korean Independence Movement History at the Independence Hall announced on the 19th that it will accept applications for the '2024 New Researcher Support Project' until the 29th.
Through this year's project call, the institute plans to select a total of 11 research support recipients.
The support fields include ▲General Academic Research Support (from doctoral candidates to within 5 years after obtaining a doctorate) and ▲Master's Thesis Research Support (from the 3rd semester of the master's program to within completion).
This project is the only specialized research support program in the field of domestic independence movement history and has supported a total of 65 research projects over the past 9 years. Among them are international students majoring in independence movement history and Korean students studying abroad.
An official from the Independence Hall stated, "We aim to contribute to helping the supported researchers establish themselves through continuous research and to strengthen the research foundation of independence movement history," adding, "We will strive to promote research on the independence movement history and to nurture the next generation of scholars."
