'Half-Price' Sale Posts Appear on Secondhand Trading Sites
Amid rumors of discord between South Korea national team captain Son Heung-min (32, Tottenham) and Lee Kang-in (23, Paris Saint-Germain) ahead of this year's Asian Cup semifinals, a fan of Lee Kang-in has attracted attention by putting the player's jersey up for sale at 'half price.'
According to the secondhand trading application 'Danggeun Market' on the 16th, a post selling Lee Kang-in's jersey was recently uploaded on the app. The seller emphasized that the jersey was purchased from the official website when Lee Kang-in transferred to Paris Saint-Germain, describing it as a "jersey with the UEFA Champions League badge."

They added, "It's size L, so it fits most body types. I wore it once and kept it because it was precious, but now I'm going to get rid of it," and lamented, "Honestly, I want to tear it apart." The selling price of the jersey is 100,000 won. The original price of the jersey is 180,000 won, meaning it is effectively being sold at half price. This is interpreted as a sign of significant disappointment among some fans toward Lee Kang-in.
Earlier, entertainment media outlet 'Dispatch' reported that there was discord between Son Heung-min and Lee Kang-in just before the Asian Cup semifinals. The British media 'The Sun' also reported that Son Heung-min suffered a finger dislocation injury due to internal conflict among national team players.
However, Lee Kang-in's side has denied some of the details of these discord rumors. On the 15th, Lee Kang-in's representative, the law firm 'Seoon,' issued a statement saying, "The claim that Lee Kang-in punched Son Heung-min in the face is not true."
They added, "Lee Kang-in deeply regrets and reflects on his mistakes," and "Since he was at the center of the dispute, he thought it was more appropriate to apologize rather than explain the specific circumstances."
Furthermore, they stated, "We will clarify our position on the remaining details later," and bowed their heads, saying, "We sincerely apologize once again to everyone who was disappointed by Lee Kang-in."
Nevertheless, despite this explanation, it seems that some football fans' anger has not subsided. On the social media posts of a chicken brand that featured Lee Kang-in as an advertising model, numerous malicious comments were posted, such as "I probably won't buy it until I die because of Lee Kang-in," and "He seems to have no roots like Lee Kang-in."
