Appreciation Plaque Presentation Ceremony on the 14th
Song Jaesung, Branch Manager of Shinhan Bank Seoul National University Branch (Class of 1991, Department of Business Administration), generously donated 100 million KRW to his alma mater for the 'Business Research Institute Lee Seonggu Lady Fund' and the 'SNU Commons Fund' to support juniors entering Seoul National University this year.
On the 14th, Seoul National University held a ceremony at the Gwanak Campus in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, to express gratitude. President Yoo Hongrim, Vice Chairman of the Development Foundation Kim Kihyun, Dean of the College of Business Chae Jun, and Executive Director of the Development Foundation Lee Junhwan attended and presented a plaque of appreciation to Branch Manager Song.

President Yoo congratulated the admission of his child and expressed gratitude, saying, "The alumnus's affection and contribution to his alma mater are a great joy and pride for Seoul National University."
Branch Manager Song added meaning by saying, "I hope that Seoul National University students, who are juniors and friends of my daughter, will grow into global leaders who solve the challenges of this era as creative talents through this fund."
Based on this SNU Commons Fund, Seoul National University plans to establish a new educational platform to nurture innovative leaders in cutting-edge global fields, such as the Advanced Convergence Department starting this March.
