Singer and actor Lee Ji-hoon (45) and Ayane Miura (31) have announced that they are expecting their first child after three years of marriage.

On the 16th, Lee Ji-hoon's agency Eun-chong Ebenesel revealed that Ayane is five months pregnant and is expected to give birth in July. The couple is focusing on prenatal care and eagerly awaiting the arrival of their baby.

Ayane shared on her social media, "I underwent in vitro fertilization. It's not that I was embarrassed or uncomfortable to mention it until now," adding, "After losing the baby at eight weeks following the first IVF attempt, I went through a lot of disappointment, pain, and mental anguish, so I couldn't talk about preparing for pregnancy or the IVF process. I was also afraid of losing the baby again." She continued, "But now Jelly (the baby's nickname) has come to us. Our baby is now 19 weeks along. So precious and already so lovable that just thinking about it brings tears to my eyes," and added, "I will take good care of the baby’s health inside my womb."

Lee Ji-hoon hinted at Ayane's pregnancy in an interview with Yonhap News on the 6th, saying, "I want to have a child soon and show a stable side within the family circle."

The couple previously tied the knot in 2021. Ayane, born in 1993 in Japan, attracted much attention for overcoming the 14-year age gap with Lee Ji-hoon, who was born in 1979. Currently, the two live in a building with 18 family members, including their parents and siblings.
