This project supports the purchase of fertilizers and soil cover films to improve productivity and reduce expenses for farms around the power plant. Starting with the Bukmyeon support project in 2015, the target areas expanded to include Uljin-eup and Jukbyeon-myeon in 2020, with approximately 2.4 billion KRW sponsored to date.
This year, a total of 650 million KRW will be provided to farmers in Bukmyeon, Uljin-eup, and Jukbyeon-myeon.
Chairman Eo Seungsu expressed gratitude, saying, “We deeply appreciate Hanul Headquarters for their generous annual support through the agricultural materials support project for the areas surrounding the power plant.”
Chairman Im Kyungsu responded, “Providing not only fertilizers but also soil cover films to farms around the power plant has improved the livelihood satisfaction of farmers.”
In response, Head Lee Seyong said, “We are pleased to be able to assist farmers through the business support project,” and added, “We ask for continued encouragement and interest so that Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters can take the lead in revitalizing the local economy.”
